I'm a Certified Gottman Couples Therapist, a Level 2 Internal Family Systems Therapist, and Certified Trauma Professional who enjoys working with individuals and couples. I believe that given the right tools, we are all capable of attaining a comfortable level of happiness and fulfillment in life. My role is to help you acquire and sharpen those tools within the shortest possible time frame.
Couples: I use the Gottman method along with Intimacy From the Inside Out (IFIO) when working with couples. This approach combines research-based techniques and Parts Work to stop negative patterns of interaction, strengthen emotional closeness and intimacy, improve conflict management, and create a culture of mutual support that honors your life goals. I love seeing people learn to share their feelings in a way that they're heard, offer support to one another, and rekindle their romance. Even more fulfilling, is watching trauma heal in the context of a loving, compassionate, and affirming relationship. When this happens, we are freed to reach our full potential and pursue our dreams. My practice is sex positive and a safe place to share. I can address any sexual issues, differences or dysfunction that are causing you distress. Individuals: I use Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness, Guided Meditation, Somatic Grounding, and Breath Work when working with individuals. IFS Therapy is incredibly effective at helping us soothe harsh/negative internal voices, anxious parts, and internal roadblocks. It allows us to heal old emotional wounds and release the burdens we carry, even those that have been passed down from family or our culture. It is also a technique that you can learn to do on your own and use outside of therapy. Since my background includes a strong grounding in fitness, wellness, and the mind/body connection, I take a holistic approach to health and happiness. I love my work and truly enjoy seeing clients reach their goals and find a place of peace, satisfaction, and pleasure in their lives.
